      Following his residency, Dr. Housel remained in Oklahoma as a clinical assistant professor. In 1996 he
began his private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. In October of 2002 he moved back to northern Utah. He began working at Circle
of Life in 2005. In addition to delivering babies, he specializes in minimally invasive endoscopic surgery. Dr. Housel is a
proctor for Gynecare, Inc. teaching laparoscopic hysterectomy to physicians in the intermountain area. He also has extensive
experience and training in urogynecologic / pelvic reconstructive surgery.
      Dr. Housel has three children. In his free time he enjoys music, golfing with his
daughter, watching the Raiders, the Cubs, and the University of Oklahoma, snow skiing, and mowing the lawn.
